Roots Mission

Roots student ministry’s mission is to come alongside families and parents to encourage and assist in the discipleship of teenage students. We are committed to helping students live out the great commandment of loving God and loving others, while also obeying the great commission of making disciples of all people showing others how to obey and follow Christ.
Roots student ministry is made up of 6th -12th grade students.
Here is a snapshot of what happens at Roots on Wednesdays and Sundays:

Wednesday Nights 6:00-8:00pm

Students ages 12-18 are invited to join us for dinner and worship. We then break into middle school and High school for age relevant expositional teaching (the same text taught on Sunday Mornings), small group time (discussion of the text and its application) and activities and games. This is a great time to engage God, and to build friendships with other people.

Sunday Mornings 10:30-11:30

On Sunday mornings students meet in groups according to age and gender. Our leaders have another opportunity to encourage kids to grow in their faith: some of the topics we have covered this year: Breaking down and understanding the basics of the gospel (Kingdom life), assurance of their salvation, tools for accurately breaking down a Biblical text, and more.
